Conventional lithium-ion power banks use a liquid electrolyte. Under puncture, overcharge or high temperature, that liquid can leak or ignite. Semi-solid state batteries reduce the amount of free liquid and use a more stable electrolyte system.
What changes for the user
- Better resistance to puncture and crush tests
- Lower risk of thermal runaway at high temperature
- Longer cycle life with less capacity fade
Why brands are switching
Airlines, retailers and consumers are paying closer attention to battery incidents. A safer cell chemistry is a clear selling point and can reduce returns and liability risks.
How we test
Every batch goes through incoming cell inspection, aging tests and 100% function testing before shipment. See our factory and QC process for details.
